Fellowship
Fellowship is a very important part of the Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church congregation. We are committed to getting to know one another and growing together as a family and community of faith. We offer activities for all ages and host programs designed to encourage members to build strong bonds with each other as they also strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
For details on current activities, check the church calendar or visit the TPC Event Blog.
Our ongoing programs include:
Sunday Coffee Time. Join us between services on Sunday morning in Fellowship Hall for coffee and fellowship.
Adult Bible Studies. In addition to Sunday morning classes, we offer a variety of adult Bible studies throughout the week. Most studies run 8 to 10 weeks and are scheduled both during the day and the evening. New studies are announced in the calendar and on the TPC Event Blog.
Presbyterian Women. TPC’s Presbyterian Women (PW) sponsor day and evening Circles for fellowship and spiritual growth. PW also hosts a number of special events, including luncheons and dinners, throughout the year.
Wondrous Wednesdays for Children. Elementary age children gather on Wednesdays for Bible study, crafts, and other activities. The program runs approximately 10 weeks and begins every September and January. The children meet at 4:30 p.m. and dinner for all ages is served at 5:30 p.m. Liturgical dancers practice from 6:00-6:30 p.m. and the children’s choir rehearses from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Adults meet for a Bible study from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Sunday Evening Youth Activities. Youth in grades 6 to 12 meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for Bible study, games, snacks, and service projects. The youth also enjoy a wide range of activities at other times. Visit the TPC Youth Blog for more information.
Music Ministry. The music ministry includes the adult chancel choir, adult and youth praise team, adult handbell choir, Joyful Sound (an adult musical ensemble), youth and children’s choirs, and youth and children’s liturgical dancers.
Small Groups. Our congregation includes a wide range of small groups reflecting the individual interests of our members. Groups gather in each other’s homes and at restaurants for meals; they attend entertainment and sporting events together; they play bridge; they dance; they read and discuss books, and much more.
Female Focus. Women of the church get together once a month for a simple weeknight social activity (generally either a light dinner or even just meeting for coffee) to enjoy "female-ship" with one another.
The Connection. Single Christian adults over 45 enjoy monthly dinners at area restaurants.
Prayer Group. The Monday morning prayer group meets to pray for individuals as well as for the church.
